Our Kaufbeuren site has a 20 mm twin screw laboratory compounder for the production of sample volumes. Because of the relatively small quantities required for compounding, lab-scale samples can be processed from the melt to supply our clients with samples for processing experiments. In addition, our pilot plant at Kaufbeuren includes injection molding machinery, test tools for standard test specimens (such as ISO, ASTM, DIN, etc.) and mechanical testing methods.
Suitable combinations of material properties can be rapidly identified by our new high-throughput screening (HTS) process for injection molding. Further methods and tests are available in cooperation with partners.
